When opening new stores, Steps and Kara were required to submit proposals to the mall or shopping center they leased from. Typically, I would communicate with the sign companies or installers about the type of sign and decide on the details, then prepare the proposals. These normally consisted of basic technical drawings and descriptions of the signs and a mockup using a photograph of the existing storefront or a drawing to show scale and overall impression.
